This is a two-for-one quilt that I made for Cady. The I Spy hexagons have been years in the making and I finally got it put together last October. Then I saw this cute little dog and just had to make him. And since my daughter says that Cady has more than enough quilts and space is limited, I decided to put them together. One on the front and one on the back. Turned out pretty neat if I do say so myself.

  1. I agree!
I think I recognize the puppy pattern, but I might be wrong. My hex quilt is into strips but I kind of got sidetracked trying to figure out the edges and how many triangles I would need to make it work.
Now I am rearranging the sewing room so I hope to get the hex one into a top form after that.
I may be going to Houston for an extended stay, so I will need some UFOs to work on. My dad might be sent home ( I don't understand why) and Mom is not able to care for him properly alone.
I have been searching for items I can take with me so I can keep myself sane while there.
